Just for the record the "brakewheel" above the cab in the photo is actually a "T" handle attached to the main turret valve. We added this feature when we rebuilt the engine in the early 1990s. It's purpose is to allow the turret (aka fountain aka n------head) to be shut from outside the cab. This is important and can save lives in case a steam pipe breaks in the cab.
