I've been down in Lordsburg, NM tring to get this Clifton Branch take over to happen. Today I ran the Clifton Branch southward to Lordsburg and caught this cool shot from the the locomotive as we climbed the grade out of Clifton

The shot is of the 5th and lowest loop of the Morenci Southern as it dropped down to the San Fransisco River. You can see the upper track heading down from right to left. The grade swung around the backside of the hill and crossed under itself through a tunnel. You can see the portal and the grade continuing down toward the river.

A bit further I caught a real quick view of one of the tunnels on the south side of San Fransisco River. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow or Friday when I'm back up that way.

Just we were dropping down into Guthrie, I saw a quick view of the MS Ry bridge across the Gila River. It is about a mile west of Guthrie.
