If I leave Spokanistan in the Coronet with top down and 440 wide open, I can make Lewiston in a little under 2 hours. The south hill switchbacks and Grand Ronde dip really kill time, usually slowing me down to make Joseph another hour and a half later for a fat burger and a beer. The hop to Baker City seems to be a clean hour. Once there, I like to slow it down to 14.3 mph to take in the sights and smells and look for the right of way.
See you this summer.
