As mentioned in my post of Saturday, June 2, my very pleasant trip to Seattle was made on Talgo equipment. This evening, I got curious, wondering primarily if the cars are built from aluminum. (I'm now virtually certain they are.)
To visit a fascinating and very informative website, search for "Talgo" on Yahoo or whichever engine you prefer. Don't be afraid to look at different language versions, as they are not simple translations of one another. I loved "Hohe Technologie fuer Hochgeschwindigkeit!
