Great report, Bob. However, you said "Hamilton, the WP&Y, uses standard size couplers, but the lightest available. (Perhaps rated at 250,000" and I wonder about that. Someone told me a while back that the WP used 3/4-sized couplers and my "Alco Return" page shows a WP coupler connected to one of the Colombian Alcos returned to Skag in '99. Assuming the Colombian is of standard size and height, there's quite a difference between the two. As I frequently remind the whitepassfanlist, however, note that I think of myself more of a Klondike historian than a rail buff, so I'll certainly defer to other more knowledgeable opinions.
