Re: New from last year was

I’ve been reading this forum for some time now, and if I may, I’d like to offer a comment. Perhaps there’s a reluctance for D&S people to contribute their information because the tone of commentary on this forum from non-D&S people is often rather derogatory to the D&S. It’s obvious that this forum is based mostly with the C&TSRR, which is certainly fine and very worthwhile. But to paint the D&S as the Disneyland operation, or as something less than the fine genuinely-historical operations of the C&T is condescending at best, and it hurts me to read such remarks. I’ve enjoyed riding both the D&S and the C&T, and I believe both railroads are doing their best, often among conditions that demonstrate a lack of understanding from those who don’t like railroading in any way. But I wish the comments disrespectful to the D&S could be avoided.
