that the shop crews had come up with a spark arrester that would pulverize the cinders upon their exit. It was small and almost undetectable. As I remember one of the 28's were outfitted first. I must have worked if the 486 doesn't appear to have a Ridgeway stack, she must have been outfitted as well.
Sure do miss the input of the D&S crew here
