The car being moved is a NG outfit car either 0250 or 0251. They were former Pullman tourist sleepers that went to the DB&W then to Western Union for thier telegraph repair train. The D&RGW got them in the 1930's. MY guess both it and 453 are being shoved out onto the deadline for scrapping. The Baldwin SG switch engine had adjustable couplers so it could switch without an idler car. One other possiblily is 025? is being shoved onto NG only track and dead 453 was a handy thing to grab to use an a "handle". This car is a sister to the 0252 under wraps in Chama. One of these cars went to CRRM the other is at a summer camp in Alamosa River Canyon.
