Yesterday I was using TopoZone to trace the Chile Line south of Antonito, and I ran across the trace of a wye just about at the highest point between Antonito and Tres Piedras, opposite San Antonio Mountain.
I didn't know of its existence, and I have never seen any mention of it in the literature. Does anybody know (1) why it was built, and (2) was it ever used, and (3) was it there until the very end or was it removed earlier.
