Do you know of any Philippine railroad lines that were three foot gauge?
If so, on what islands and is there anything left of it- them?

"Good day! Pat,
my apologies too for the late reply, the Holidays! had been hectic.
If you do not mind me asking, may I please know as to how I contacted you, can you refresh me on this?
for your Query.
from an article about Philippine Railroads published in the Railroad Magazine February 1961 issue, there was a mention of the
"Philippine-Hawaiian Railway with a three(3) foot gage tracks".
there was also a mention of our country having 'thirty-si
36) Railroads
operated by either Private and/or Government but it did not provide the whole list; although from the article I have listed some of those mentioned:
1. Manila Railroad(MRR) now Philippine National Railways(PNR) mainly based in Luzon, 3' 6" gage
2. Philippine Railway based in Panay Islands
3. Bogo-Medellin Railway based in Cebu Islands
4. Central Azucarrera de Bais Railway based in Negros Islands
5. Canlubang Sugar Estate based in the Province of Laguna, Luzon Islands, 3'6" gage
6. Philippine Milling Company, base of operation not known at this time, 2' gage
7. Pampanga Sugar Development Company(PaSuDeCo RR) based in the Province of Pampanga, Luzon Islands, 3' 6" gage
8. WoodWorks Inc., base of operation not known at this time, 4' 8½" standard gage
9. St. Cecilia SawMills, base of operation not known at this time
10. Insular Lumber Company based in Negros Islands
11. Hawaiian-Philippine RR, base of operation not known at this time, 3' gage
Items without gage are still for research.
To tell you the truth our forefathers had a hardtime keeping records and I doubt if any records of the other RR have survive, this have greatly limited my research. I am also saddened that even our own National Library and the
PNR does not hold any useful records.
May I also request from your good person if you have any materials pertaining to my country's RR's that which you can share?
I hope we can exchange info regularly.
For your favorable response, please.
Yours truly.
