LaPorte County Historical Steam Society *LINK*

hello, I would just like to tell everyone about the Laporte County Historical Steam Soicety (hesston) in LaPorte Indiana. We are a living steam Musuem Located just south of New Bufflo Michigan on IN Hwy 39 conviently off I94 Michigan Exit 1 take it south. Anyways, we run 3 diffrent gauges of steam trains every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We have 2'3' narrow gage steam Locomotives, 14inch (amousment park gauge), and the 1 1/2" gauge. We run are trains from noon to 5pm central standard time (Chicago time)Every Saturday and Sunday from Memeriol day to labor day and then every sunday till the last 2 weekends in october then we are both days for are holloween ghost train. then we are closed till the 1st two weekends in december for the candycane express.
