Well, I've been doing a lot on this map over the past two months. Mostly correcting a lot of incorrect lines and inconsistencies anywhere I came across one, as well as adding more curvature to a lot of curves that didn't look right. Most notably I've corrected some issues with the BC&F Spur up at the Coal Mine (and I went hiking up there last week to pass the time, but stayed socially distant) and found there was a trestle on the line I hadn't documented. The La Plata Coal and Iron Spur ended too soon, which I fixed upon finding it was documented on a TOPO map. I might be interested in hiking up to that sometime soon as well. The Triangle Coal Mine and Tram is now documented as well, and the small section of the RGS included now has the Storage spur, Durango Goose barn and section house, Porter sidings and section house buildings, Trestles 155-A through 162-B documented, and the Pineridge siding where the rest of the route is cut off to. Discussions in other recent threads shed light upon what's called the "Silverton Tank" and the Whitehead Gulch Flume spout, Which were both added. In the north Durango Yard and other places around Durango with industrial spurs, I've attempted to document more original floorplans of said industries like Vulcan Foundry and Graden's San Juan Flower Mill. Wideman's sawmill has been added too, with a spur to it and approximate floorplan structures.
I keep saying this will be one of the last updates, yet 3 months later I find myself making enough significant changes to the map that another update should be announced. I can say I don't plan on documenting anything more past Falfa, Pineridge or Cedar. At that point, I'd just be redoing work someone else has already done and it would be taking more focus off of the maps #1 intent, which is to accurately document the 3 Silverton Railroads and the Silverton Branch.
