The first time that I rode a locomotive in Guatemala, I witnessed both engineer & fireman placing their enameled pots on the backhead tray of Krupp-built 2-8-2 174. They had this timed pretty well. Lunch was ready when we waited in a siding for the daily passenger to get by our mixed local.
While I don't remember all that was available, they had a lot of variety & it really added the the great day that I had with them.
