The fill east of Highway 7 has been raveling in one spot for years and was almost back to the rails, with the tie ends hanging in space. A landowners fence prevented us from just dumping rock over the edge, so we build a retaining wall out of ties and then dumped rock & dirt from the ex-WP&Y side dump car. A finish coat of ballast and the work met with approval from the foreman.
Our next work weekend will be April 25 & 26, lining and leveling some rough sections.
Foreman reviewing the work accomplished.
