It's going to be a great summer for narrow gauge train watching and riding in the Gunnison area. How are they coming on draining the reservoir? I realize the runoff from this winter's snows will delay it, but I can't wait to photograph those C-21s running past the Curecanti Needle.
I understand that the City of Ouray will devote this year's Jeep Raffle proceeds to the restoration of the Ouray Branch. However, I've heard that Ridgway is balking at contributing anything. They have already invested substantial funds into the RGS, and wouldn't want the D&RGW to steal the RGS's thunder.
