From what I read, the foundation of the depot is the common foundation that the DSP&P used for all of their small depots (where feasible). They could generously be called Railroad Ties. The building would probably have to be reinforced temporarily with steel stringers and raised until a more lasting foundation could be poured of concrete. It wouldn't surprise me if the floor joists were a half step above sawdust.
With enough work, money and a one helluva lot of caring, it could be saved for future generations to enjoy. If not, well think of what happened to the Pine (arson) and Bailey's (demolished) depots.
