I agree there was/is something about watching projected slides along with the hum of the projector that just isn't there with computers.

I have a bunch of slides I took over the last 45 years that I thought I would scan and post (at least a few of the good ones). I bought a printer, copier, scanner, that is supposed to do slides but my results are not worth posting. Can someone suggest a scanner that will do a good job of capturing what is on the slide. I can't get any useful advice from the guys at Circuit City etc.
