cab numbers

I was recently in the Chama area and was delighted to see the progress being made on the C&TS as compared to the last couple of years. The whole atmosphere is greatly changed for the better. That being said, I also have one bit of constructive criticism (at least, I hope it is so received). Do something about the cab numbers. I saw the numbers on 463 and 497 and they looked all wrong. Something needs to be done to make them appear more authentic. I have heard that Ernie Robart in Albuquerque has a set of stencils he took off original cab numbers years ago (including 463). Perhaps these would help. I wouldn't be surprised if this issue has already been addressed on this forum. If so, my apologies. Still, I think it would be an important improvement to have the cab numbers lettered correctly.
