I talked to John West and Mark Yates about this yesterday on Cumbres . Mark said apparently the companies that made the good stick-em overlays are out of business .The overlays used on #463 and 497 were also donated . West wanted to do something about putting better numbers on the engines .I volunteered to hand paint the numbers on these engines over the winter . Everyone agrees the n umbers suck . Be glad trhe engines ran at all over Cumbres as the C&TS almost didn't make it this year .
