Hi Curtis,
I have always believed that guys who do the models and live steam engines, are all in the fraternity with the 1 to 1 crowd. In fact, sometimes I think that they put a whole lot more effort into what they do because their locomotives are often built from scratch. Hell, at least I had something to start with! If I had to make and machine every part, I would have gone nuts along time ago....well, maybe nuttier than I am already. I gladly give a tip of the hat to you guys out there who model the old engines. Frankly, I greatly admire your patience, ability, and skill to take something as large as Eureka, or any other engine, and be able to scale it down and make it work. Not only that, but the model guys often make the detailed drawings of many structures, cars, equipment etc., that otherwise would not be available.
Keep up the good work!
