Battle for the Royal Gorge

If you limit it to the ATSF and the DRGW you're probably correct. But in earlier years the ATSF and the DRG (no W) ng. also touched at Pueblo, did battle for the Royal Gorge, and paralleled each other all the way to Denver prior to that section being standard gauged. But that was probably prior to the use of "Mechanical Flagmen".
