Hi, I visit St. Elmo each year, sometimes 2 or more times. I have hiked the 2 miles+/- this spring. It is worth the trip. As you approach St. Elmo from the east there are many trails in this area so as a result there is usually a number of trailers for horses, ATVs, and motorcycles. Most of the trailer parking is 1/4 mile from St. Elmo. Have fun!spinning smiley sticking its tongue out Shannon
