Re: Why did Ward Kimball quit running the Emma Nevada?

The Emma Nevada is a coal burner, and up untill the mid 1950's Ward didn't have many neighbors. With the subdividing of the orchards that surrounded his long and narrow plot of land he found out that not everybody likes the sights, sounds and smells of the iron horse.
Chloe being a plantation loco will burn just about anything combustable in her firebox. The smell of wood smoke is tolerated much more by the non initiated than the aroma of burning bituminus.
