It has been pointed out to me this morning, via private email, that I am trying to "cover my ass" and "make Jason the scapegoat"....the point to my post was to not "cover my ass"or blame Jason for anything.....IN two years I have never pointed fingers or tried to asses blame. My point was to simple point out that any situation has two sides and any side can be spun one way or the other. The facts are that I like Jason and think he is quite the COlorado Railroading historian and he certainly knows way more about the mechanics of broken down 100 year old cars, and how to keep them running, than I do. It was also pointed out to me this morning that some may misunderstand my signing of my post as "former Ops Man." I left because my own buisness, that I have been running for 10 years, has gotten a large order of self-propelled railcars and I needed to be here. I miss the loop, I fell in love with SIlver Plume and the Rockies! I am very proud of the job I did...mistakes and all...I gave it my best. I am proud of the crews I trained. I am not perfect...but who is!
Peace to all,
