I have just been watching for the umpteenth time my copy of the Mark I video of OY ploughing in 1993. I am curious at to why the OY is fitted with an air pump - which can be herd liberally on many occasions. I though the air supplied by ONE of the three locomotives would be sufficient to control the train?
