Hello,
Thank you very much for the information. I forgot to ask about #44 since I understand that some steam locomotives have slightly different characteristics even if they are basically the same. I also forgot to ask about shay No. 8 and diesel No. 15. If you can recall what train lengths they could handle, I am curious to know how many cars they could handle. Why was No. 8 retired? Was is up for an overhaul and Nos. 14 and 12 could handle the work?

Thanks for sharing your information. I rode the Loop back in August of 1990 and greatly enjoyed the ride and the mine tour. I came back a second day to photograph the trains on the same Colorado trip.
