Hello, there has been talk in the past about generated revenue and annual passenger counts on the loop. Naturally, daily passenger train capacity and train frequency are the key elements. I am curious about the different past and present locomotves used on the loop and how many cars they could haul up the grades and curves. I know the shays have more tractive effort than the other steamers. For example, how may cars could shays #12 and #14 handle compared to #40 and the current #12 and #9. Also, how many cars could diesels 130 or 140 handle compared to the current diesels and the anticipated 1203?
Sincerley,
