The harpstands on the EBT are mostly attached to two ties, with the rod to the switch points between them. One exception is a switch next to the creek behind the shops. One of the headblocks hangs out over the creek with the harpstand attached to that one tie! You have to balance on the tie while pulling the stand to throw the switch - quite exciting in the winter with snow or ice on the tie!
