I thought the CHS had agreed to fund cosmetic restoration if it was determined that 30/74 was not a candidate for operational restoration.
I also was under the impression from a recent post, that Uhrich was already working on putting 30/74 back together.
What is the status of getting 74's tender back?
I think every step better be taken ASAP to recover parts and pieces of this engine. If #9 is not being considered for use this year, that means there is plenty of time to rebuild #9's own tank.
Maybe I'm just confused, but I thought this was already being done as part of the agreement when 30/74 went to Strasberg.
