Pyle E-2 Generators:
I just checked a locomotove Cyclopedia (50-52 version) to check on the E-2. The listing shows an E-2-N 500 watt unit but it is rated at either 42, 64 or 120 volts. I thought the bulk of the NG engines use the 32 volt system in which case Pyle offered the K-240, the E the E-3-N and the M series.
What is the voltage of the system in question?
