Alamosa Webcam

I have tried looking at the recently installed webcam at Alamosa, and am not having much luck as I am on dial-up. The picture is so slow loading that only a bit more than a third of it has appeared when the camera clicks to a new shot. Is anyone else with dial-up having this problem, or is there some way of speeding up the loading process?
