I appreciate the clarification, Grant. In the year or so I have been lurking here and at the Goat I never knew this was called The Lily. I would say, normally, "Stupid me!" but I don't think in this case it would apply. Some people assume others of us know all the inside jokes and references. We don't.
I usually sit in back of the room at The Goat and only offer a comment now and then. I have found in my 58 years that one learns a lot by listening and that it seems that when the mouth is engaged, the ears are disconnected.
I will continue to sit in at The Goat to get the rumors, innuendos and some of the news. Here I get wonderful history lessons and details of the Narrow Gauge spoken by many of those persons with intimate knowledge - a resource that is invaluable. Both serve a purpose, but making a person feel stupid has no place in either.
