John. From what I can see, the 700 / 800 ciass drop bottom gons did not show to much on the RGS. The only photos I can turn are in Silver San Juan. They were taken north of Dolores on June 19, 1942 by Otto Perry.
I am always looking for more photos of fright cars on the RGS in 1940, with the old C&S cars top on my list. As I model the RGS in thr warm weather of 1940 I am always on the look out for what cars were in use and where they did in loads and so on.
We know there was a large number of C&S stock cars in use, but how many C&S box cars and how long did they last in service?
BSN3.
