In the same vein, Bo, I'd like to offer the following idea. Establish an endowment in Bob's name, funded by private donations. I don't know how foundations commonly work, but I visualize that this might be a good way of keeping Bob's memory alive.
I suspect that a primary recipient of the proceeds of this fund should rightfully be the CRRM to which he devoted so much of his life.
I'd be very interested in what others think of this idea. Bob gave some much of himself to our beloved narrow gauges, so I think that it would be fitting a proper if we returned some of this love by financially supporting narrow gauge related projects.
