Always have a soft spot in my heart for the #454. To me, it was always the prettiest of the K27's and always presented a clean appearence. It seems like crews at Montrose always took a little more pride in their steeds than elsewhere on the narrow gauge, especially with the #454. Too bad that loco wasn't preserved.
