Yes the ET&WNC is 3 columns over. Number of defects 40, Loco owned 6; Locos inspected 8; locomotive defective 8; taken out of service -none. I do not have a copy of 2nd report for ET&WNC but if they did not have 11 engines they were not listed seperately but all lumped into one large column in the end for lines with less that ten engines. 9 stays broken and 7 flues pluged the worst items, 3 cab cards missing.
The Book is a hard bound edition of the ICC with the title just as I gave it in the text. It also included failures and incidents through out the year. You can find it in most State Archives Libraries.
United States. Interstate Commerce Commission. Division of Locomotive Inspection (3/13/1911)
If you missed it a while back, I have a Shay service department service card that says the Uintah had 6 Shay and 5 Baldwin at Atchee. The only time they had 5 Baldwins was before 1917, long before they bought a new #6 Shay. So the ICC is wrong, The Governor's Report (for taxes) are wrong, Poor's Manual is wrong, ORER is wrong, Lima is wrong, so Henry Bender is right????
I don't buy the denial. There was a 1st #6 out there 1912 to about 1917.
