When I was young I looked forward to this program, but even then was dissapointed in the second season which had almost no railroading in it (Ben Baboon would announce that he was "going out to aquire right of way" and that was the rest of the episode)
Happened to catch reruns of the show on the Western channnel a few months back and, as an adult, was shocked at how over the top the acting was and how bad the plots, characters and dialoge were.
This is clearly one of the worst shows from the 60's. Only the railroad stuff gives us any redeeming qualities and, like I said, was essentially gone by the second season. Lon
