Steffen,
I have an Alps MD 5000 that I use regularly in WindowsXP, its been serving me faithfully for over a year now. In fact windows XP autodetects the Alps printers but the built in windows driver is junk. There is a yahoo group out there for Alps printers that has the XP driver in their files section.
Do you have a good supplier for cartridges? I am in the market for a new supplier of Alps or OKI cartridges.
