John:
I sent a separate note to Mark concerning two other published sources for the map key drawings that might help. Have you run into anything that might explain when the Sheep Dip Plant (which I believe belonged to the RR) was taken out of service? I suspect that it was following the 1910 or 1911 flood that completely submerged that part of the property judging from a picture in one of Robb's books which shows that part of the yard under water. All the 1920 pictures that I have seen seem to show that all that is there are broken fences etc., and no building.
Keep the information coming as it fills a lot of gaps. By the way there is a note in my 1905 building inventory that says for the Ice House,
"gone by 1919" or something like that even though there is not reference to it's actual construction. I wonder if it is another of the "privately built buildings on RR property" that ended up reverting to the RR by default.
Thanks again'
