Don't have details of what damage they sustained, but there were narrow gauge tracks all over Pearl Harbor. They were still there in 1969, embedded in the docks and not being used. So I do not see how it could have escaped without some damage. The line circled Oahu and served almost all of the bases. Tracks were still in place in 69 from Honolulu past Barber's Point NAS up the NW side of the island to a Navy Ammo site. There were still narrow gauge box cars on a siding there. I think they were ex-NCNG. I think most of that track is still in place, but I haven't been back since 71, so not sure.
