John Frank, thank you for your comments, and I would like to make it very clear that I am NOT for abandoning the 2007 operating season. If I misstated my position, I apologise.
My point was that if the CTSMC continues to hold a gun to the head of the Commission, the Commission should have enough backbone to tell them to "Take a Hike"!. Several in high places have told me they believe they can operate without a management contract, and just individually contract out the operation in 2007.
As I continue my research even today, I am flabbergasted at the amount of corruption, nepotism and crap that is going on...(deep within this whole mess)...that is unknown to the great majority of well meaning NG railfans who read this board and others.
There is growing talk of an audit of this whole mess....(and believe me, it is a mess)...by the State of New Mexico, and hopefully too by the State of Colorado...and even perhaps the IRS. Included is a top flight investigative reporter diving deep in to this pile of sheep dip...and believe me, it IS THAT.
With regard to the CTSMC...my only comment would be that.. "One good performance... does not a career make"!
If any of you reading this would know all of what I have discovered, and continue to uncover, there would be panic, and on another board there would be people trampled to death, in the exodus of a certain Goat Saloon. Trusting people HATE to be conned, and will rise up with righteous indignation and wrath against those who have misled them...and this just might be a "Preview of Coming Attractions."
The conflicts of interest, nepotism and other illegalities continues to unfold, and is becoming a flood.
I'm dealing with facts here, not my opinion.
