Thanks for pointing out those details. I knew that the end in my photo had the ability to slide but I hadn't really considered that the other end was rigid. I also noticed in your photo that the horizontal angle iron that goes from the end of the bridge to the diagonal member isn't present on both spans. Is this only present on the end that slides? There is definetely one on the Chama end. Or is it only on the left end of the bridge when viewed from the side? Hmmm. The photo below shows the piece that I am refering too. No matter how many shots I take it seem that there is always one more that I need!
