Not to prolong this thread, but I was in a conversation with a lady friend of mine at a Fortune 500 company this very morning, and the discussion turned to maternity leaves, and how much lost time/work they involve.
If the UP management would consider how much time (and insurance money) is lost when someone has a baby, they would pay, and gladly.
Its like keeping up your track, or paying for the derailment crew. It costs money either way.
Obviously, the UP management is reactive, not proactive.
Enough of this funny stuff. Just thought everyone would enjoy the UP having a problem that has nothing to do with us. LOL.
