Re: McEwen Water Tower *PIC*

Dan, I don't know for sure, but like you suspect it is. You may recall an article series in the Stump Dodger that Nils Christianson wrote about moving the water tower we have from Newtville. Is/was Newtville the area where the string of houses are along the hwy going up to the Austin House junction by the artesion well? There was a different water tower down by the Bates Mill that is not the one we have. The attatched photo shows just a bit of it. I have seen another photo somewhere of this one which was fully enclosed at the bottom with a hip roof on top. This photo is from my collection.
