I've heard that retail price will be around $695. I'm sure that places like Tall Pine and others will discount them, though. At first glance that might seem a little steep, but it promises to be a model that will put the brass versions to shame.
As for me, I'm waiting for 268 as it appeared around 1950 (though I'll probably save up my pennies and get a 278 also).
