The MOW vehicle is called the speed swing, a large tired hi rail tractor very capable of hauling a 3000 box. It hauled the box car with the sheep to the drop off site due to the lateness of the day. The Division of Wildlife were concerned that the daylight would fade soon and they didn't want the sheep to be left overnight again or to release them towards dark. Engine 486 was prepared to replace 481 just in case it didn't get rerailed. 486 never left the yard. The only train at the site was the 481 with the Cascade Canyon equipment and 200 passengers. Hope this explains my original post.
