One historical foot note to the photo with the Model A. I joked with several members of the public that we were recreating the plausible scenario of SVRy transporting a new Ford to the dealer in Prarrie City. I was visiting with Ron Harr Sunday and he confirmed that in fact SVRy did transport Ford automobiles to a dealer in Prarrie. He said SVRy had 2 box cars that had doors on one end, so the car hauling boxcars could be shoved up against a loading ramp and the cars driven inside. He said he was told that on some of the cars the fenders had to be removed to fit inside a N.G.boxcar.
