I don`t know much about the B&Bs but I always stay at the Trails Inn. No Air, but nice.
The engine house is open to look around, but please try to refrain from going all around as work is always going on inside! If you want to get in the cab, just ask when the train is waiting for departure in the morning and I`m sure that you can get a look!
