I'm glad you posted this. Somebody told me that Stuhr had figured out how to replace frame members keeping the rest of the body intact, but it looks like only the original roof was retained. Neverless, this was a very informative essay! I wish more people doing restoration work would document their techniques which will make it easier for the next generation.
