There have been a nugood points made in these discussions. The capital improvements being done this year are an important step in the right direction. The mentioned five year capital program is a great program and hopefully the states and others will but in back on track.
When opportunity knocks, answer it. The White Pass & Yukon has stated that they will be buying five new coaches for next season. This is a great opportunity piggyback and get idendical car trucks, and even a car frame shells. The C&TS shop employees could take these shell frames and finish the wood cars to reflect their design standards and "look" of the cars.
